What is included?
One black hinged knee brace in your selected size, with two removable aluminum side hinges. It is not a pair. The price is $89.99 USD with standard US shipping included.
How is this different from a knee sleeve?
This model has a front opening, fastening straps and two removable aluminum side hinges. A knitted sleeve is a different type of support. Construction alone does not establish suitability for a particular injury or medical condition.
How do I choose a size?
Bend your knee approximately 30 degrees and measure the full circumference around the middle of the kneecap. L: 42–47 cm (16.5–18.5 in); XL: 46–52 cm (18.1–20.5 in); 2XL: 52–57 cm (20.5–22.4 in). Ranges are approximate and overlap. Contact Gelpax if two sizes match or you are at a boundary.
Is it latex-free?
No. This product contains latex. Do not use it if you are sensitive or allergic to latex.
How do I put it on?
Open the brace with the longer strap at the top and the shorter strap at the bottom. Position the wrap behind your knee, with a hinge at each side and the opening aligned with your kneecap. Close the lower fabric panels below the kneecap, then feed the lower fastening strap through its ring and secure it. Repeat with the upper panels and strap above the kneecap. Fasten snugly without overtightening.
Can the hinges be removed?
Both aluminum side hinges are removable. Detailed removal and reinsertion instructions are still being confirmed; contact Gelpax before changing the hinge configuration.
What if the size doesn’t fit?
Contact Gelpax within 90 calendar days after delivery. The first replacement in another available size of this product is free, including US shipping. If we require the original back, we provide a prepaid label. If no suitable alternative exists, our fit policy provides a purchase-price refund. Ordinary satisfaction returns have customer-paid postage.
Can it replace my prescribed brace?
Do not substitute this product for a prescribed brace. Post-surgical, overnight and condition-specific use have not been established for this model. Follow your clinician’s advice and the confirmed instructions.
