The very first installment is perhaps one of the best ways that any medical practice with a decent sized client list can ensure their calendar is booked solid for weeks and months.
It’s called the “Database Reactivation Campaign”...
And yes, it’s exactly what it sounds like. There are 3 very important steps you need to follow when running a database reactivation campaign.
1. Ensure that you’re sending texts and not emails!
Text messages have a 10X better response rate than emails do. You most likely have a list of emails that you’ve collected over the years. But you most likely also have a list of phone numbers. But texting thousands of people can be a grueling task… Don’t worry I’ll show you how we do it with the click of a button.
2. Make sure that you keep it personal.
Remember, when you’re texting your customers prompting them to come into your medical practice by claiming some sort of deal, you don’t want to seem salesy. This is a text message, it’s meant to be personal. So save the sales copy for email… Here’s a message we’ve found works super well.
“Hey it’s Aston from Gelpax.com, just wanted to make sure you’re holding up ok during this outbreak. If you need something to do I’ve got 4 $50 gift certificates on my desk for Botox, would you like me to reserve one for you?”
Leave it at that! If your client doesn’t respond do not reach out again to pester them. Keep it thoughtful and respectful.
3. Follow up, Follow Up, Follow Up!!!
It’s all in the follow up! Seriously, when we’ve run these campaigns in the past we typically get a 3-5% appointment booking rate. I would recommend that you only text about 150-200 people at a time to ensure you can handle the response.
Bonus tip - Sweeten the deal if they book an appointment today!! If they respond and want to claim a gift certificate, sweeten the deal with your reply like this…
“Great I’ll reserve one for you now! Check out our calendar here to book an appointment - source1agency.com/book - If you book it now I’ll throw in a free face mask that you can take home. Hope to see you soon!”
This simple line literally doubles the amount of appointments you’ll get from this campaign.
